I don’t have to give my call sign a lot any longer. This does it for me automatically.

Repeater ID-er module

The good news here is that I received the "RepeaterID" very quickly, with cable, instructions and very well packaged. BUT, when it came to acquiring (downloading) the software on my computer for its operation, that became a big problem for me! I am overwhelmed, I have to say on how to do this. I would like to have this requirement been simpler, and it is here at this point where I am. I had a GMRS licensee and user, who is a bit better than I am using such things, and he could not figure it out either. In the meantime, it is sitting in its packaging while I ponder what my next step is going to be. But in the meantime, I will give this device 5 stars as I am confident, when I get it working, it will be exactly what my (our) repeater needs! KS

Great product.

This is easy to program and easy to use. I especially like the feature where it will automatically go into idle mode when the repeater is not in use.

I found the audio volume is very loud even with the pot turned down. The easy solution was to edit the audio file to about 20% volume, then re-upload that file and run the RepeaterID at the regular 50% level.
