Genuine Nagoya NMO-72

The NMO-72 is a 48.5cm (~19.2 inch) dual-band NMO mount antenna with up to 3.65 dB of gain. It is designed to be used with your mobile or base radio.

It is easily mounted magnetically with the RB-50 (not included) or via Mast or Pole with the GPK-01 Mount kit (not included). Wide Band transmit and receive on 140-170MHz and 430-470MHz (2m / 70cm / GMRS).

The Nagoya NMO-72 dual band is a VHF and UHF antenna. A 1/4 wave on 2 meters provides unity gain, and a 5/8 wave on 440 MHz provides 3.65 dB gain. This antenna can handle up to 100 watts.

In most cases: the longer the antenna is, the better the antenna is capable of boosting weak frequencies and receiving difficult-to-hear stations. Shorter antennas offer more portability and convenience, while longer antennas generally perform better.
