It works great.

Didn't work on my radio.

According to the comments on the myGMRS website, this would work on a Radioddity DB-25G. It didn't work on mine. Fortunately I found the original cable in the box where it had fallen behind a chair. That one worked fine.

Hi Jon, this cable is specifically for the Retevis RA25 radio. We do not claim that it works with the Radioddity DB-25G in the listing. You can always return the cable if you are unable to use it, just reach out to our support team.

Makes Programming Easier

Using the cable makes programming the radio much simpler. Now if the software was modified to upload a file of frequencies instead of having to enter each individual frequency it might be perfect….
